First Book Fair Under My Belt!

I attended the Literacy Nation Book Fair this past Saturday. It was a nice event with about 30-40 authors ranging in content from children's books to Adult. While it was a hot day that unfortunately got cut short by thunderstorms, I had a great time meeting fellow independent authors as well as talking with people about my book. A special shout out to my two neighbors, Andre Burns (Instagram @lb_lifemaxx) and D. Jay Holmes (www.djayholmes.com), both of whom are newer authors and like me, were attending their first book fair. An extra shout out to Andre, who along with his wonderful wife, Aireyana, bought my first ever book sold at a book fair (check out the picture below).

I'm looking forward to my next event, the Literary Festival @ Downingtown Vintage on August 29th.
